Evidence matrix: verified facts from your papers

Build a comparison table from your literature with quote-checked values — never invented findings.

The Evidence matrix extracts structured fields (population, design, findings, limitations, and more) from papers you already added. Every shown value must carry a verbatim supporting quote that Siza has checked against the source text — otherwise the cell stays “Not reported”.

Before you run

  1. Add papers in Literature (upload PDF, paste abstract, or multi-source search).
  2. Prefer papers with extractable full text; abstracts still work and are labelled.
  3. Open Evidence matrix and review the preset columns — add custom columns if needed (max 12).

Run verified extraction

  • Estimate credits first (full text costs more than abstract-only; empty papers are free)
  • Run extraction and watch progress fill cell by cell
  • Open any cell to read the supporting quote
  • Edit values you disagree with — your edits survive later re-runs
  • Export CSV or Word when the table is ready for supervision

What comes next

  • Gap Finder landscape uses setting / theory / population from your matrix when present.
  • Multi-source search finds OA papers across open databases (with soft fallbacks if a source is down).
  • Screening helps you include/exclude candidates with keyboard shortcuts — AI suggestions never auto-exclude.

Start from Literature, then open Evidence matrix for the comparison table.
